After School Activities Offered:

Play-well TEKnologies- Engineering FUNdamentals with LEGO. With over 150,000 pieces of LEGO, take on real-life engineering challenges that explore concepts in physics, mechanical/structural engineering, and architecture.  Meets on Fridays from 3:15-4:45pm.  Open to ages 7-12 years.


Young Rembrandts is a wonderful art program which helps develop self-confidence, fine motor skills, and artistic knowledge. Meets on Tuesdays in the Art Room. Open to grades 1st-4th.

 

Modern Manners is taught by Dixie Duffey, etiquette professional and featured manners expert for the TV show Sonoran Living. She offers classes in leadership skills, dining skills, and all things manners.

 

Wednesday Book Bunch is led by PVCP teacher Mrs. Noland and is a fun club that covers specific topics in the area of reading such as phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, etc. Open to grades 1st-6th.

Athletes in Training Sports Club - Lots of fun sports in a non-intimidating environment! Open to grades K-4th. Meets on Thursdays.

Monday Math Madness is led by PVCP teacher Mrs. Jones and is a fun club designed to build on your child's current math skills and help them learn why math is so important in our society!  Grades 1st-3rd.

 

Chess Club is run by Chess Emporium. Studies have shown that chess can help students increase their math and verbal skills, as well as their creative and critical thinking skills.  Classes meet on Tuesdays in Pod 3.


International Club is led by PVCP teacher Senora Walker. This is a fun club that introduces students to five different languages and cultures.  PK & K class and a 1st-4th class meeting on Mondays.
