Enhanced Precautions for In-Person Learning
COVID-19 has posed unprecedented challenges for our nation and in particular for students. PVCP recognizes the dual needs of continuing to safeguard the health of our students and faculty while at the same time ensuring valuable education time is not lost. Believing that there is no truly adequate alternative for in-person learning and recognizing that some families simply can't maintain virtual learning this fall, PVCP is pleased to release our COVID-19 health protocol: "Towards a Safe and Healthy School Year: Steps to Reopening On-Campus Learning on August 17."
A guiding source in this process has been the CDC's "General Readiness Assessment," and PVCP has spent hundreds of hours consulting internal and external health authorities, high-risk families, governmental agencies, other private school administrators, public health lobbyists, and more. Some highlights of the protocol include:
Temperature Checks Upon Campus Arrival
Face Mask Expectation on Campus
"Gel-In/Gel-Out" of Campus and All Classrooms
Enhanced Room Sanitization Between All Classes
Socially Distanced Learning Spaces
One-Way Directional Walkways on Campus
There’s no better way to learn more about PVCP’s truly unique approach to Christian education than visiting our campus! We would love the chance to meet you in person and learn more about your goals for your child’s education, so please consider taking the next step and schedule a campus visit today.
